The Event:  The Red Carpet Poetry Slam on January 26, 2012 is America SCORES Chicago's annual gala fundraiser event.  The Red Carpet Slam celebrates 2011's success while raising the support which allows America SCORES to continue offering its free after-school programming to Chicago Public School students.  Mingle with America SCORES supporters and stakeholders at a cocktail reception, and peruse our silent auction selection.

The Poetry:  The Red Carpet Slam will feature original performances by select 3rd-8th grade poet-athletes, chosen based on their performance at November's Community Poetry Slam and their commitment throughout the year.  Two poets will earn the right to go to America SCORES' National Poetry Slam in New York City.  Click here to meet the 2012  poets and hear their words.
